Christal has a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling and is a National Certified Counselor and an LPC-Resident in Counseling. Although her theoretical foundation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she truly believes that people are individuals and treatment should be tailored for each person; one size does not fit all. She enjoys helping clients identify and use their strengths to regulate negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in their daily lives.
She has experience working with both adolescents and adults struggling with gender identity, substance use disorders, addictions, and co-occurring issues such as depression and anxiety. Additionally, as a military spouse for over 20 years, she has unique insights into military families and culture.
