Crista Studer is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the unique ability to combine nutrition and mental health for clients suffering from disordered eating, poor body image, low self-esteem, anxiety/depression, and other mental health disorders.
Crista obtained her undergraduate degree in Dietetics from The Ohio State University and completed her Dietetic Internship with an emphasis on Pediatrics at Saint Louis University. While working at an inpatient eating disorder treatment center, Crista discovered the important connection between mental health counseling and its impact on recovery from an eating disorder. Crista obtained her masters degree in counseling from Johns Hopkins University and completed her residency with Total Health Concepts. Now a Licensed Professional Counselor, Crista has the unique ability to combine nutrition with exposure therapy while helping clients discover the root cause of their illness. Utilizing a team approach, Crista works with increasing self-esteem, body-image, depression/anxiety, and life skills through individual, couples, and family therapy. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, American Counseling Association, and International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians.
