Crista obtained her undergraduate degree in Dietetics from The Ohio State University and completed her Dietetic Internship with an emphasis in Pediatrics at Saint Louis University. While working at an inpatient eating disorder treatment center, Crista discovered the important connection between mental health counseling and its impact on recovery from an eating disorder. Crista obtained her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She is currently a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and is working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Crista has the unique ability to combine nutrition with exposure therapy while helping clients discover the root cause of their illness. Utilizing a team approach, Crista works with increasing self-esteem, body-image, depression/anxiety, and life skills through individual, couples, and family therapy. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, American Counseling Association, and International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians.
