Navigating the road to seeking and accepting help with your emotional and mental well being is often difficult and isolating. Kelly seeks to normalize psychotherapy as a collaborative and integral part of your self-care. Her client-centered approach assists clients with understanding environmental influences to enhance happiness and personal fulfillment while reducing emotional angst. To promote healing and validate self worth, she empowers clients to identify natural skills and strengths to overcome obstacles and develop healthy relationships. Kelly is mindful of cultural and religious considerations in her practice, which includes work with children, adolescents, and adults with a history of trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorder, severe mental illness, juveniles and adults involved in the justice system, as well as family members and loved ones impacted by these conditions.
Kelly served 20 years in the military and is a military spouse. She has a Master of Social Work degree, is a registered Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult, and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Kelly is pursuing the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential with our team of therapists who specialize in disordered eating.
