Leigh takes a trauma-informed approach to her psychotherapy practice. She works with individuals to process difficult life experiences, helping them to positively transform relationships and perspectives. Leigh is training in EMDR, and her psychodynamic clinical approach combines Internal Family Systems (parts) work, vagus nerve/body work, and a solution-focused, strengths-based approach.
Leigh obtained her MSW from George Mason University and is currently under supervision for her LCSW. She also holds an MA in Development Studies and is a QMHP-A. Leigh has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, attachment disorders, grief and loss, substance use, and trauma. Leigh strives to create a safe and trusting environment for individuals to feel accepted, validated, and supported, while resolving past traumas and addressing current issues.
