Bekah Allred, MSW, Supervisee in Social Work
Bekah is currently working as a LCSW supervisee, and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Duke University and her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina.
Bekah loves working with youth of all ages, adults and families, and firmly believes everyone should have a safe, nonjudgmental, and healing place to work through life’s difficulties. She wholeheartedly collaborates with clients to empower them to recognize their existing strengths and talents, and build on these as well as additional coping skills to overcome obstacles and manage symptoms. She’s worked with youth and families for over a decade, and utilizes a client centered, trauma informed, culturally responsive, strengths based approach in her work.
She uses a variety of treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, play therapy, and solutions focused therapy to help clients tackle emotional, social, behavioral, and relational challenges. More specifically, she works with clients experiencing a wide range of issues, including struggles related to anxiety, anger, depression, self-esteem, ADHD, ASD, eating disorders, emotion regulation, trauma, and life transitions. She is very passionate about helping her clients reach their full potential and live their best lives possible!
