Haley is passionate about assisting adolescents and adults in processing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors associated with their current struggles in a healthy way. She works with her clients to identify their core beliefs that contribute to their identity, self-worth, and communication style and uses a strength-based approach to promote positive change and growth. Haley has experience with counseling life adjustments/transitions, anxiety/depression, self-esteem issues, relationship struggles, family dynamics, self-harm/suicidality, and trauma. She encourages her clients to move from maladaptive coping by teaching new coping skills specific to the clients needs.
Haley’s therapy style is eclectic and utilizes interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. She emphasizes the importance of building rapport, trust, and safety while engaging in the therapeutic process and appreciates vulnerability in order to foster the best possible experience.
