Alexis Andre, M.Ed., Resident in Counseling
Alexis specializes in working collaboratively with teens and adults to heal and accomplish their life goals. With years of experience in school counseling, she has helped individuals work through issues related to anxiety, self-esteem, body image, disordered eating, life transitions and development of healthy relationships.
Alexis focuses on addressing underlying issues such as trauma and generational wounds, and tailors treatment to the unique needs of each client. She values culturally sensitive approaches to therapy and meets clients where they are.
Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, Alexis received her degree in Psychology and minor in Family Studies from James Madison University (JMU). After graduating from JMU, Alexis received her Masters of Counselor Education at the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville.
Alexis is currently a resident in counseling working towards gaining her LPC licensure and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential.
