Michael Getz, M.Ed., Resident in Counseling
Michael received a Master’s in Counselor Education from Florida Atlantic University and is currently working towards LPC Licensure. Michael has experience working with addiction and co-occurring disorders, children, adults, autism, depression, and anxiety.
Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, Michael aims to help individuals identify distorted thinking, challenge negative self-talk, and reframe thoughts and behaviors to achieve a greater sense of well-being. Michael believes in a Person-Centered, non-directive approach, where the individual is empowered to be the expert of their own life.
Michael is passionate about walking alongside others on their journey, with empathy and compassion, as they process their life story and move towards healing.
