Amanda Yi, MSW, Supervisee in Clinical Social Work
Amanda received a Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently working towards LCSW Licensure. Amanda has experience working with individuals and groups, and has worked in a variety of treatment settings including outpatient counseling, residential treatment facilities, and schools.
Amanda has a passion for helping clients who struggle with disordered eating, trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders through a variety of treatment modalities. She has experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure Therapy. Alongside this, she incorporates mindfulness as an avenue towards helping clients find peace in the present moment. Amanda meets people where they are and makes it her goal to empower and support those with whom she works.
