As a dedicated and compassionate Resident in Counseling, Jerly brings a wealth of experience
and a multicultural perspective to the field of mental health. Jerly is fluent in both English and
Spanish. She is committed to providing inclusive and accessible mental health support to individuals and families. Jerly holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University.
She also holds a master’s degree in Forensic and Legal Psychology. Jerly’s therapeutic approach
is grounded in evidence-based practices, emphasizing the integration of CBT, family systems,
mindfulness and DBT skills. Jerly is well-equipped to address a diverse range of mental health
challenges. Having worked with children, teens, and young adults, she has gained valuable
experience in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, changing dynamics in
families and more to promote emotional regulation and resilience.
As a bilingual therapist, Jerly is adept at creating a comfortable and supportive environment for both English and Spanish speaking clients. She understands the importance of cultural sensitivity in therapy and strive to tailor her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
