Shelly enjoys helping individuals and families struggling to manage challenging life
circumstances. She uses a strengths-based approach to encourage healing, life transitions and promoting a positive change in an individual’s life.
Shelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has a passion for working with adolescents and families while supporting the goal of healing and transformation from a solution-focused and strengths-based approach. Shelly has experience in treating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, parent-child relational concerns. As a trauma informed, EMDR trained therapist who utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques to assist individuals in the growth process.
She views the therapeutic process as a collaborative one and pursued a career in social work with a passion for increasing access to mental health services and offering effective, evidence-based treatment that is both culturally sensitive and gender affirming.
